The end of 2014 brought good news for land conservation and public access in the Chesapeake in the form of two significant spending bills passed by Congress.  The new legislation includes funding for sites along the Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail and a new park honoring Harriet Tubman.  To learn more, check out this article from the Bay Journal.
