Jake works through his GIS Fellow position at the Chesapeake Conservancy and National Park Service Chesapeake Bay Office to support the geospatial goals of the Chesapeake Conservation Partnership. This includes guiding the Conservation Atlas and its implementation, assisting the bi-weekly mapping group meetings, and providing support to other mapping and GIS related projects.

Jake holds a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Sciences and a certificate in Geographic Information Systems from University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
